Topic and product selection

A Blog topic must answer a distinct user decision, avoid duplicating an existing broad ranking and add original evidence such as a workflow test, current price check, data model, template or source-led comparison. Platform and vendor coverage follows query relevance and the published test.

Broad category pages outside the Blog remain a separate editorial layer with their own methodology.

Sources and claims

Prices, plan limits, security statements and product capabilities use current primary sources. Third-party ratings and vendor customer stories are labelled as external signals, not first-party test findings. Changeable claims sit next to a source and a verification date.

AI may assist with organizing research or checking consistency, but it is not accepted as a factual source. Publishable claims must trace to a primary document, recorded test or transparent dataset.

Updates and corrections

A date changes only after a substantive verification or update. Price, feature, screenshot and source checks are kept in a separate maintenance queue. Material factual corrections are recorded on the corrections page or changelog.

Reader path

Core evidence remains ungated. Blog articles link to related guides, methodology and research data. External product links are direct and carry nofollow treatment.
